Step 1

Make a patch piece. It should overlap the hole by at least half again the distance from the center to the edge.

Step 2

Lay a bead of glue around the hole, centered in the area that the overlap from the patch will cover.

Step 3

Press the patch in place firmly, but not so hard as to squeeze out most of the glue. Make sure entire bead around hole has been pressed.
